Basics of Car Maintenance

Our Basics of Car Maintenance workshop is designed to empower women and youth through hands-on learning. Participants get practical experience with real tools as they learn how to check fluids, fuse box, air filters, change a tire, understand dashboard warnings, and safely jump-start a vehicle.
We focus on building confidence by turning everyday car care into approachable, easy-to-learn skills. No prior knowledge is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty. It’s not just about fixing cars, it’s about proving to yourself that you can.

Intro to Bodyshop

Our Intro to Bodyshop workshop offers a hands-on introduction to the world of cosmetic car care and repair. Participants learn how to fix minor dents and scratches using real tools and techniques, gaining the confidence to tackle small body repairs themselves. We break down the differences between paint protection film (PPF) and ceramic coating, helping you understand what each one offers and when to use them. You’ll also get to practice applying PPF, learning tips to achieve a clean, professional finish. This workshop is all about giving you the knowledge and skills to care for your car’s appearance like a pro.

Intro to Electric Vehicles

Our Intro to Electric Vehicles workshop demystifies EV ownership through engaging, hands-on learning. We cover the basics of electricity like volts, amps, and kilowatts so you understand how your EV really works. Participants learn the difference between AC and DC charging, explore various types of charging stations, and gain practical tips for safe and efficient charging at home or on the go. We also dive into EV-specific maintenance routines to help you extend battery life and keep your vehicle in top shape. Whether you’re a new EV owner or just curious, this workshop gives you the confidence to embrace the future of driving with a chance to test drive an Electric Vehicle.
